Home via the 'dark passage'

Because of the river and motorway where I live getting to somewhere quite close on foot can take a couple of hours. After walking into town and then doubling back on myself, under roads and alongside canals I find myself on the other side of the river. It's very muddy but compared to the route I normally take - dead exoctic! To get back to my reality I need to take the 'Dark Passage', an enclosed footbridge that runs underneath a railway bridge that crosses the River Calder. It's a throwback to the seventies, badly lit and covered in decades of graffiti, it has a scary charm all of its own!

I redrew panel two because although it looked like me it didn't look like me in the comic strip world I am drawing.
