Stealing like an artist

There is a type of wallpaper I like that I see on Pinterest that I can't find on the apps like IDTR Wallpapers, Back Drops, Abstract etc so had a feeble attempt at creating one. It uses basic shapes, line and muted colour to give a minimal but aesthetic home screen.

On Pinterest the style is called something like 'Bo-Ho Neutral' and seems more associated with interior design. Here's a few of my variations at 1320 x 2400px.

I took a colour scheme and layout that I liked and added texture and lines in Affinity. It's really basic stuff but I struggle with the simplicity. Deleting a lot more than I think necessary until what's left is what I need.

Ps. Since writing I have deleted my Pinterest account after finding out that they are doubling down on delivering Ai/Slop content while the number of ads with sexual content has also increased. Even with controls that supposedly let you control these ad elements turned on. Ah well, who needs all these distracting apps any way.
